
CONFINED SPACE ENTRY & RESCUE LEVEL 1
Our 40-hour confined space entry and rescue level 1 course allows trainees to learn and understand the definition, dangers and correct entry procedures of a confined space. The rescue fundamentals of rope rescue taught are in line with NFPA 1006: 2013 Standard for Technical Rescuer Professional Qualifications, Chapter 6, (6.1 – 6.2.4) Level I. It includes classroom and practical training, at the end of which a theory and practical assessment will be conducted to ensure trainees meet or exceed the equired standards.
Course Content: Introduction to confined space entry, introduction to rescue equipment, knots and lines, simple mechanical advantage systems, patient assessment, sked stretcher, SCBA, tripod, lowering and hauling system, team based scenarios.
